Gdyby udało mu się wkręcić młodziaka i Libra faktycznie zostałaby przemianowana na Mark, byłby to wyborowy strzał w stopę. „Konkurent Bitcoina” stałby się czymś w rodzaju personal coina gościa, który należy do najmniej lubianych celebrytów branży IT. Ciekawe, jak wpłynęłoby to na kurs nowej waluty.
Jednak prawda może być inna. Po głębszym namyśle uznaliśmy, że Forbes w zawoalowany sposób nawiązuje do biblijnego określenia „Mark of the Beast”, czyli znamię Bestii. Magnat prasowy zdaje sobie sprawę, że Zuckerberg, mimo aparycji owieczki, jest w istocie wilkiem w owczej skórze, czyli właśnie bestią. Choć właściwą biblijną Bestią może być jego pierworodne dziecko, czyli Facebook. Mowa przecież o żarłocznym molochu (pozostańmy w kręgu skojarzeń biblijnych), któremu miliardy ludzi codziennie składają w ofierze swoje życie prywatne. Jeśli dodać do tego fakt, że znamię Bestii powiązane jest z liczbą 666, która z pewnością zaplątała się gdzieś w kodzie Facebooka, a „F” to szósta litera alfabetu – nie może być mowy o pomyłce.
Mówiąc w skrócie, Forbes w sprytny sposób wystawił Zuckerberga. W efekcie dla wszystkich stało się jasne, że Libra to waluta szatańska, a drogą prawości jest Bitcoin.
